후르비츠 제타함수(Hurwitz zeta function)

개요

$\zeta(s,a) = \sum_{n=0}^\infty \frac{1}{(n+a)^{s}}$

a=1 인 경우, 리만제타함수가 됨

a=q/p 인 경우,

$\zeta(s,q/p) = \sum_{n=0}^\infty \frac{1}{(n+q/p)^{s}}= \sum_{n=0}^\infty \frac{p^s}{(pn+q)^s}$

덧셈공식

$k^s\,\zeta(s,kz)= \sum_{n=0}^{k-1}\zeta\left(s,z+\frac{n}{k}\right)$

디리클레 L-함수와의 관계

$\chi$ 가 주기가 인 디리클레 캐릭터라고 하면

$L(s,\chi)= \sum_{n\geq 1}\frac{\chi(n)}{n^s}=\frac {1}{p^s} \sum_{q=1}^p \chi(q)\; \zeta \left(s,\frac{q}{p}\right)$

$\chi$ 가 $\chi(3)=-1$ 인 주기가 4인 디리클레 캐릭터라고 하면

$L(s,\chi) =4^{-s}\{\zeta(s,1/4)-\zeta(s,3/4)\}$

Hermite의 적분표현

$\operatorname{Re} a > 0$ 일 때, $\zeta(s,a)=\frac{1}{2a^s}+\frac{a^{1-s}}{s-1}+2\int_0^{\infty}\frac{\sin[s\tan^{-1}(t/a)]}{(a^2+t^2)^{s/2}}\frac{dt}{e^{2\pi t} -1}$

감마함수와의 관계

$\frac{\partial }{\partial s}\zeta(s,a)|_{s=0} =\log \frac{\Gamma(a)}{\sqrt{2\pi}}$

(증명)

위에 있는 Hermite의 표현과 감마함수의 Binet's second expression 을 이용■

베르누이 다항식과의 관계

정수 $n\geq 0$ 에 대하여 $\zeta(-n,x)=-{B_{n+1}(x) \over n+1}$

특히, n=0 이면 $\zeta(0,x)= \frac{1}{2} -x$

베르누이 다항식

$\zeta(s,a) = \sum_{n=0}^\infty \frac{1}{(n+a)^{s}}$

$\zeta(s,a+1) =\zeta(s,a)-\frac{1}{a^s}$

$\zeta'(s,a+1) =\zeta'(s,a)+a^{-s}\log a$

$\zeta'(0,a+1) =\zeta'(0,a)+}\log a$

$G(a)=e^{\zeta'(0,a)}$ 라고 두면, G(a+1)=aG(a) .

a>0 일때, G(a) 는 로그 볼록성을 가진다.

또한 G(a) 는 a>0 에서 해석함수이다.

감마함수의 성질로부터 $G(a)=G(1)\Gamma(a)$

$G(1)=\zeta'(0)$ 이므로, $\zeta'(0)=-\log{\sqrt{2\pi}}$ 로부터 (모든 자연수의 곱과 리만제타함수 참조)

$\frac{\partial }{\partial s}\zeta(s,a)|_{s=0} =\log \frac{\Gamma(a)}{\sqrt{2\pi}}$ 임이 증명된다.
